CAEL / workforcePhiladelphia2.0

Welcome
to WorkforcePhiladelphia2.0, an initiative promoting economic
development in the Greater Philadelphia region through
building and retaining a world class workforce.
Each year, we focus our efforts around one initiative:
- In October 2008, WorkforcePhiladelphia2.0 convened a forum on human capital investment. Building on a study conducted by the CEO Council for Growth and CAEL on how companies can use tuition assistance programs strategically, the forum provided an opportunity for HR and learning leaders from companies around the region to create strategies to address corporate challenges, support adult learning, and promote regional economic growth.

- In 2007, WorkforcePhiladelphia2.0 offered member companies a session on tuition assistance.
- In 2006, WorkforcePhiladelphia2.0 convened local business and higher education leaders at a forum to discuss how to move from partnership to collaboration at a regional level.
- In 2005, WorkforcePhiladelphia2.0 recognized three area companies for their exemplary employee learning and development practices and policies. Click here to read the profiles.
